Whereas the FR 541 is intended as the perfect DH race rim with a careful balance of impact resistance, ride characteristics and weight, this new FR 571 goes all-in on pure strength for those who just can't help themselves and value durability above all else. This is perfect for dishing out abuse at the bike park or in the Alps.
The result of extensive testing with some of the most destructive riders on the World Cup DH and EWS circuits as well as leading freeriders, this rim isn't for everyone but for the chosen few it will the answer to their prayers. The 571 adds an extra 80 grams (in 27.5") over the 541, putting more material in places where even the renowned 541 gives way increasing durability to even greater heights, if you break one of these we will want to see the clip!

Rim Profile
The modified rim profile and the material in place allows for increased resistance to impacts and pinch flats.
Size Options
Ride in full 29”, full 27.5” or mullet. The FR 571 is available in both sizes and 32 spoke count.
Nipples & Washers
The FR 571 comes with new brass Flat Hex nipples and PHR washers, resistant enough for rough handling. These nipples are designed not to pierce rim tape should a spoke snap mid-race run or halfway down a sketchy line
